About Lynsey
Lynsey has an honours degree in Graphic Design and has worked in the industry for over 20 years. She quickly moved up into the role as Creative Director and went on to co-own and run a successful design agency in Nottingham for 10 amazing years.
Lynsey's journey into food photography came from her passion for using delicious and unique imagery in her designs – her frustrations trying to find imagery with the specific look and feel she had in mind, quickly led her down the path of taking her own photographs to use in her designs. Before long she was getting so many requests for photography it was taking up more and more of her time. She realised how much enjoyment shooting food gave her and how fulfilled she felt, so she decided to step into food photography full time and launch Woope Creative.
Now shooting imagery for both large, well-known brands and small to medium businesses, Lynsey brings her unique eye and creative flair to all her client projects. Her awareness of how things work from agency side has given her a firm grounding in what designers and brands require from her imagery to get results.
Lynsey’s an avid cook and plant-based recipe developer, she loves cooking almost as much as she does taking photos of the end result. What's more she understands what it takes to make a good dish look great, and also what's required to make food shine on camera.
When she’s not in her studio (or the kitchen), Lynsey can be found practicing yoga, reading, listening to podcasts and walking her 2 Rough Collies around the forest where she lives with her husband Tim.
